Who am I
Welcome to my page. I am really excited to tell you about my journey. I recently acquired the name "Fit Nick" because of my new found success in Health and Fitness. Just before the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I was on a mission to shed some weight and tone up my body. I personally would not have described myself as obese, although some medical charts would have listed me in that category, but I thought I could stand to lose 15 - 20 pounds. Well I am delighted to say that I lost a total of 44 pounds in a matter of 7 months. Yes, that's is correct. I lost 44 pounds, when my initial goal was to lose 20 pounds.
In January, 2020, I weighed myself and I was weighing 213.9 pounds. It was unbelievable, as I had never weighed that much before. I was astonished and decided to do something about it. Two months, I weighed 211.3 pounds. A whole 2 pounds difference. Then I decided to get serious. I developed a workout routine, which consisted of pushups, sit ups and walking 3-5 miles every day. Then the pandemic hit and along with that was the self quarantine. I told myself that I was not going to fall for the trap of being inside all day, which has a tendency to lead to more eating and lack of activities. So I had to step my game up. I then focused on eating healthier and increasing my workout regimen, which now included supersets focusing on cardio, core and strength training. The pounds started to fly off. Some weeks, i would lose as much as 5 pounds. I quickly reach my initial goal of losing 20 pounds, but then I decided to keep going. After all, why stop when you are in a rhythm. So I set another goal, to lose 10 more pounds and bring my total to 30 pounds weight loss. After all, I am still in a rhythm and the pandemic was still in effect. So with the support of family and friends, I kept going and going and going.

In August, I stepped on the scale and to my delight, the reading was 169.6. Man, was I excited about seeing that number. I had accomplished something that I initially thought was impossible. It was a good feeling and now I want to share that feeling. I have now developed the Fit Nick Online Workouts and I want to share it with everyone who thinks that it is impossible to lose weight. It is all in the mindset and not the body. Most people believe that they can exercise all day and that should be enough for them to lose weight. Well, I thought so too and I was very disappointed.
